Description

Audley Sheppard KC is a Consultant in the London office of Clifford Chance LLP. He was formerly a Partner (1995 to 2023) and Co-Head of the firm’s International Arbitration Group. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2015.

Audley has over 35 years’ experience in the resolution of disputes arising out of major infrastructure and energy projects and international trade and investments, as counsel and arbitrator. 

He has had leadership roles at the LCIA, and has been a Member of the ICC Court, Co-Chair of the IBA arbitration committee, and Rapporteur of the ILA arbitration committee. He has been a visiting professor at the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary, University of London. He is a frequent speaker and writer on arbitration topics.

He has had many appointments as arbitrator.
