Description

Andy Moody leads Baker McKenzie's Dispute Resolution team in the London office. He advises clients on international, commercial and investment treaty arbitration as well as in complex, often multi-jurisdictional litigation, mediations and expert determinations. Andy also regularly sits as an arbitrator.

The majority of Andy's work is cross border and for clients in the energy, financial services, aviation, diversified industrials, and telecommunications sectors. Andy has advised on many disputes in Africa, Eastern and Western Europe, the CIS, the Middle East and Asia. He has acted as advisor and advocate in many international arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, SIAC, CAS, ICSID and LMAA arbitration rules, and in ad hoc arbitrations.

Andy also sits as arbitrator and serves as Vice Chair of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR)'s Committee on Energy, Oil and Gas and a Committee Member of the recently revitalised Energy Arbitration Club (EAC) in London. Andy is also the co-author of International Arbitration, a Practical Guide (Globe Publishing, 2019).
